Repairs

Repairs are often more time-consuming than new bindings. So you should know beforehand whether the sweetheart is worth it. Repairs are usually charged according to the time and material expenditure. For example, if the binding is no longer stable enough and the entire book has to be dismantled page by page, it can become correspondingly more expensive. Before you decide on a repair, you are welcome to send me photos for an initial assessment by email or whatsapp. I also had to send customers back home because they had incorrectly described the condition of the book to me on the phone. Before you even think about a repair, you should personally question the ideal value. Ultimately, I can only estimate the prices, since the actual effort is only determined after the work. Basically the prices move as shown in the price list, e.g. a repair with leather on the back is not cheaper than a half leather strap. Books in need of repair usually have very chipped book corners, so metal corners or laminated book corners are recommended.

Pick-up and delivery service

I offer a pick-up and delivery service for customers in the Landau and Karlsruhe area.

You can also send me the patient by post.

Before, afterwards
KREPAP does not do any restoration work, only repairs.

Great binding work on a 60 year old and massively read book of legends, which would have been a shame because of the wonderful graphics.

Wolfgang Walk

Mr. Pfeiffer restored my 30-year-old, tattered Bible very well. It looks like new now. Great service, pleasant communication and good price. Highly recommended.

Andreas Herburger

Have to say: I was impressed with Mr. Marco's great work, he really knows what people want. Namely ... he has reached the maximum of what ... I had hoped for. Great work. grace

Celestino Dispenza

Friendly contact and great service, as well as a great job on an over 50 year old photo album, which is now a treasure for future generations! Thank you very much, Mr. Pfeiffer
