When I first contacted him, Marco Pfeiffer took a lot of time and gave me the best advice on the design and composition of my book. Everyone will find their "perfect print" here and can also take advantage of a craft steeped in history and tradition. The service is unparalleled, you are fully looked after and advised in all matters right from the start. Even "last minute" jobs are usually not a problem, even on Sundays and public holidays, so that students can meet their deadlines without having to forego a beautifully finished result of their work. Here you are not a number, but a serious customer. Almost anything is possible on request - service is very important here! The craft is carried out in this bookbinding shop with absolute conscientiousness and a lot of experience and skill. Each copy is unique and shows a lot of love for detail, thorough and clean work. Whether hardcover or softcover, each version is processed to perfection.
The prices for the respective print are surprisingly cheap - especially students will not find a better offer, at least in the Karlsruhe area! For such impeccable quality you often pay more than the budget allows, but at Krepap there are great offers for students who do not want to miss precisely such quality, e.g. a discount of 20% on the complete work or certain inexpensive cover versions. The price-performance ratio at Krepap is definitely unbeatable!
With almost 300 pages per copy and a tight time frame up to submission, my bachelor thesis was a challenge, but not an obstacle. The low price for the print surprised me so much that I also opted for an embossed leather cover - this request was not a problem at all. The result blew me away! The fine paper, the beautifully crafted cover and the incredible way the book feels at the end make it a perfect work to be proud of. It is this nice feeling to hold a real book in your hands, a manual work, a unique piece, and to be able to call it your own. The thesis has a place of honor on the bookshelf and has already been admired by many fellow students and professors. I already know with absolute certainty that my master’s thesis and one day also my dissertation will be printed here.
I will always recommend the Krepap bookbindery so that more people can learn about this insider tip and happily hold their finished work in their hands.

As part of my thesis, I looked for a printer / bookbinder in the Karlsruhe area and came across KREPAP (Mr. Pfeiffer). One thing in advance: I was not disappointed and instead I am just very enthusiastic!

Contact was very easy by email, completely unbureaucratic, yet understandable and, above all, super fast. Despite several agreements over a few days, an answer from Mr Pfeiffer was usually in my inbox in well under an hour.

Only positive things can be said about the quality of the work. Even short-term changes were taken into account and reacted to immediately. All of my wishes would be implemented 1: 1. The materials used are of high quality and there are clearly positive differences in terms of the craftsmanship compared to other work that I have already had elsewhere. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fair.

With this in mind, I can only thank Mr. Pfeiffer and KREPAP very much for the smooth process and the great quality, which gave my thesis the necessary finishing touches!

All in all, I was completely satisfied, can only warmly recommend KREPAP and will use the services offered again at any time if necessary.

That's why I gave it the grade 1+ with an asterisk!

The selection itself went without any major incidents: the bookbinder is very friendly and is happy to explain the various options with their advantages and disadvantages. The price was stated before the order was placed and is based on the price list (also available on the page) so that there were no surprises here either.
Since I have reordered more copies, I can say both about collection and shipping that it is quick and unproblematic. The books are securely packaged so that no damage can result from transport.
As already mentioned, my books are hardcover prints of my diploma thesis and correspond to what I had hoped for. The paper is quite thick, which makes it easy to turn the pages and prevents the reverse side from showing through. The cover is very clean, including a reinforced sheet that encloses the actual print. The embossing is also beautifully made so that the finished book fits perfectly into the bookshelf.
In summary, I can say that I am very satisfied with the result, processing and advice as well as the price / performance ratio and will come back to Krepap if I need to book binding my works.

I am more than happy with the books. Mr. Pfeiffer had a wide range of options and was able to advise me very professionally. The contact via email was always very quick and reliable!
He tried to implement all wishes and experimented with a new substance for me. The embossing is very nice, I also brought an externally made embossing cliché for my motif, which wasn't a problem at all. All possible formats are possible.
The total of 7 books were also bound within a week. The prices are also fully justified.
The books are not comparable with copy shop bindings, so real craft and very high quality!
I can only recommend KREPAP Buchbinderei and Mr. Pfeiffer as a very pleasant person!

Hi. I too can only join in the praise of Mr. Pfeiffer. Called on Friday and announced that my thesis, which I can only present to him on Monday, has to be handed in on Tuesday. AND: the thesis could be submitted in hardcover on time. Super fast, looks good and the ladies from the student secretariat, as well as the professor, were also impressed with the work (i.e. the work of Mr. Pfeiffer!;)). I can only recommend Krepap, which I have already done. Even the clerk in the copy shop was impressed by the low price for the binding and cover printing. A tip from me: do not use the simple copy paper for printing, but rather thick paper with 100g / m2; is also better in the hand. And if the thesis or other study thesis makes a good visual impression, the evaluating person is already in a positive mood ...
