KREPAP only uses high quality materials for the production of books. Adhesive bindings are made using the Lumbeck method produced, which means that the paper is fanned out from both sides and thus each side receives an application of glue. Therefore, KREPAP gives a 10 year guarantee on the adhesive binding of all hardcovers. After the adhesive binding, the book block is cut on three sides. Book covers are made with 2.5 - 3mm gray cardboard. KREPAP offers a wide variety of paper, linen, fabric and leather as cover materials. Each book is made by hand. Lederband

Leather must be sharpened before processing, i.e. made thinner so that it can be processed well. Leather is haptically and olfactory unmistakable. A leather cover also weighs a little more and thus the content of the book can be enhanced. If the whole book or the Book cover made entirely of leather If only the spine of the book is covered, it is a half leather strap. KREPAP only makes fixed prices for half leather volumes, as the purchase prices for leather are very different.

Bookcloth feels more material than librarycloth, but librarycloth is more robust and partly washable. Many colors are available. A book cover that is completely covered with fabric / linen is called a whole fabric tape or linen tape. Accordingly, a book cover that is only covered with fabric / linen on the back is called a half-fabric tape or half-linen tape. Half-woven tapes are usually laminated with paper, for example elephant skin paper, which can be printed and embossed with a title you have designed yourself, for example.

A book cover that is completely covered with paper is called a cardboard tape . KREPAP can only emboss and not print on cardboard volumes. However, due to the oversize required, these can be printed by printers.
